A Big Ten power has picked up its first portal commitment of the off-season, as Mercer guard Jake Davis has committed to Illinois.
Davis didn't put up huge stats, averaging just nine points per game, but is a dead-eye shooter, hitting 38.7 percent from behind the three-point arc. He did all of this while attempting over 150 three-pointers this season.
The 6'6 guard who is originally from Illinois, has three years of eligibility remaining.
