A high-upside SEC forward will transfer, as Alabama forward Sam Walters has decided that he will leave the program.
The news was first reported by On3's Joe Tipton.
Walters was a stretch, 6'10 forward, who recently completed his first year at Alabama. He averaged 5.4 points and just over two rebounds per game, but also hit 39 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
Despite those minimal numbers his upside should make him one of the more coveted players available.
