A key Big East guard will transfer

A key Big East guard will transfer, as Villanova's TJ Bamba has hit the portal, in news first reported by CBS's Jon Rothstein.

Bamba came to Villanova last summer from Washington State, and was good, but not great in his one year on the Mainline. He averaged 10.1 points per game on 37 percent three-point shooting, numbers that were actually down from the previous year at Washington State. During the 2022-2023 season in Pullman he actually led the Cougars in scoring at 16 points per game on 37 percent from beyond the arc.

Now with one year of eligibility left, Bamba will transfer.
