A key cog on back-to-back TCU tournament teams is now in the portal, as Eddie Lampkin, a 6'11 center who played 21 minutes per game for the Horned Frogs this year, has decided to transfer from the school.
Lampkin became a tournament star last year when he had 20 points and 14 rebounds in a near Round 2 upset of No. 1 seed Arizona last year, but could not continue that success into 2023. He averaged 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season, before leaving the program last week, making accusations about head coach Jamie Dixon on his way out the door.
Still, at 6'11 with Big 12 experience, he should be coveted by many schools.
