A mid-major superstar will transfer - and might be the best player in the portal, as South Dakota State guard Zeke Mayo has told On3's Joe Tipton that will transfer.

Mayo also told Tipton that he will consider the NBA Draft as well.

The 6'4 guard was an absolute star for South Dakota State this season, averaging 18.8 points per game, go along with six boards and three rebounds per game - all while shooting 39 percent from beyond the three-point arc. In the process, he earned Summit League Player of the Year, and is a two-time All-Summit first team member.

A native of Lawrence, Kansas, it will be interesting to see if Kansas becomes the team to beat if Mayo returns to college.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.
