Just hours after star Minnesota guard Ta'lon Cooper announced that he would be transferring, a second marquee Golden Gopher announced he's transferring as well - that would be forward Jamison Battle.
The news was first reported by 247 Sports' Travis Branham.
Battle was the Gophers second leading scorer this season, averaging 12.4 points per game, this after averaging 17.5 points per game as a Golden Gopher a year before. His first two years of college hoops were played at George Washington, where he averaged double-figures both seasons as well.
A career 35 percent three-point shooter, Battle should receive plenty of interest from high major schools.
