A star Illinois freshman is transferring, as On3's Joe Tipton reports that big man Morez Johnson will hit the portal.
A bruising 6'9 forward, Johnson averaged 8.7 points and seven rebounds in just 17 minutes per game this season. which included a 14-point, 15 rebound performance against Ohio State.
He'll have three years of eligibility remaining.
