A star mid-major guard is now in the portal, as Dayton's Malachi Smith will transfer according to 247Sports' Travis Branham.
A 6'0 point guard originally from the Bronx, Smith was phenomenal this season for the Flyers, averaging 10.1 points per game and 5.3 assists per game on the season.
That included a 24-point, nine assist performance in a loss to Iowa State at the Maui Invitational back in November.
