A star mid-major player is a last minute portal entry, as Samford forward Achor Achor has hit the transfer portal.
Achor was a first team All-So Con forward who averaged 16 points and six rebounds per game, helping Samford to the NCAA Tournament this spring. That included 23 points and nine rebounds in a narrow opening round NCAA Tournament loss to Kansas.
He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
