A third Texas Tech player is now in the transfer portal

Less than a full day after Chris Beard accepted the Texas Tech job, a third different former Red Raider is now in the transfer portal. On Friday, Micah Peavy, a 6'7 forward joined teammates Kyler Edwards and Marcus Santos-Silva in hitting the portal.

Peavy is a former Top 40 prospect and legitimate NBA talent, who averaged 5.7 points per game as a freshman last season. Whether or not he follows Beard to Texas, he will be a highly, highly coveted transfer commodity.
