Alabama has already picked its first transfer portal commitment

Alabama has wasted little time in the transfer portal securing its first commitment of the spring - as Pepperdine guard Houston Mallette has committed to the school!

The news was first reported by Bama 247.

Mallette was a star at Pepperdine this year averaging 14.7 points per game for the Waves, all while shooting over 41 percent from three. After Lorenzo Romar's firing he transferred and has found a new home.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.
