Alabama, Kansas, Arkansas among school to reach out to elite portal shooter

An elite portal shooter has heard from some of the biggest programs in college hoops - as Wichita State's Colby Rogers has become a hot portal commodity.


According to Tobias Bass from the Athletic, Alabama, Kansas, Arkansas, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Xavier, St. John’s, Nevada, Memphis, USC are among the schools to reach out to the 6'4 guard who played last season for Wichita State.


In his one season for the Shockers, Rogers proved to be one of the most deadly shooters in college hoops, averaging 14 points per game, while shooting a blistering 41 percent from three.


Rogers, who previously played at Cal Poly and Siena, and who sat out the 2022-2023 season as a two-time transfer will have one year of eligibility remaining.
