All-Big Ten guard Marcus Carr is down to four transfer choices

There are several marquee names still in the portal, and one is closer to making his decision. That is All-Big Ten guard Marcus Carr. According to a report from CBS' Jon Rothstein, Carr is down to Kentucky, Kansas, Texas and Louisville.

Carr was one of the most dynamic guards in the Big Ten last year, averaging right around 19 points, four rebounds and five assists per game last year for the Golden Gophers. After initially saying he planned on staying in the draft this spring, Rothstein reported last week that he will in fact to return to school.

With Kentucky (Sahvir Wheeler) and Kansas (Remy Martin) both addressing their point guard spot through the portal this spring, Texas and Louisville seem like the most logical fits for the sixth-year guard. The Longhorns are seen as the favorite as things stand.
