The 6'8 Freeman came to Auburn this year from the DII ranks and showed flashes as an emerging star, averaging 9.2 points on 34 percent three-point shooting. That included a 19-point game against Seattle and a 15-point game against Nevada, helping the Tigers to an NIT title.
However, despite Auburn's strong finish in the NIT, Freeman will now transfer. he has two years of eligibility remaining.
