Andre Curbelo, one of the most sought after Transfers in the Portal, has made a decision!

Illinois transfer Andre Curbelo has committed to St. Johns. The 6'1" Guard from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, averaged 7.5 points and 3.2 assists per game last season. Curbelo had massive success as a Freshman for Illinois in 2021, when he averaged 9.1 points per game and won the Big Ten 6th Man of the Year award. Curbelo played his high school basketball at Long Island Lutheran and will be returning home.
