Another former McDonald's All-American is in the transfer portal

Another former McDonald's All-American is in the transfer portal, as Texas forward Dillon Mitchell has announced he'll transfer.

The news was first reported by 247 Sports' Travis Branham.

Mitchell arrived two seasons ago as a highly-rated recruit but struggled as a freshman, before electing to return this past season. There, his numbers improved, as he averaged 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, although as a 6'8 wing, he did not make a three-pointer all season long.

Despite needing to round out his game, expect for Mitchell to be highly-coveted in this portal cycle. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.
