Arizona adds one of the best players in the portal

It's been a relatively quiet off-season at Arizona, as with most of their key contributors returning and an elite recruiting class, they haven't been overly active in the portal.

But that changed on Wednesday - when they nabbed one of the best players in the portal, as Oakland's Trey Towsend committed to the Cats.

The 6'6 wing earned Horizon League Player of the Year honors this season, averaging 17 points and eight rebounds per game, all while shooting 37 percent from three.

Expect him to start in the frontcourt for the Wildcats, who were looking for a player to replace the departed Pelle Larsson.
