On Sunday morning, new Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd made a key addition for his 2021-2022 roster, as former Utah guard Pelle Larsson committed to the school. The news was first reported by ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Larsson was solid in his one season in Salt Lake City, averaging 8.2 points per game, on over 46 percent three-point shooting as a freshman. He should be a solid, versatile piece for Lloyd's first Arizona team next season.
Larsson is originally from Sweden, as Lloyd keeps his reputation going as one of the best international recruiters in college basketball. He brought the likes of Rony Turiaf, Joel Ayayi, Killian Tillie and others to Gonzaga in previous years.
