Auburn made two portal splashes on Monday, adding key pieces to the frontcourt.
The first was former Iowa and Creighton forward Owen Freeman. The 6'10 Freeman averaged16.7 points and 6.7 rebounds two seasons ago at Creighton, before an injury-plagued campaign limited him to 26 games this year.
The second portal grab was former Troy forward Thomas Dowd, who was a first-team All-Sun Belt performer this year, averaging 14.4 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while logging 36 minutes per game.
Both players will have one year of eligibility remaining.
