Baylor lands one of the best remaining players in the portal

Baylor lands one of the best remaining players in the portal, as Miami center Norchad Omier is headed to Waco.

The 6'7 forward originally from Nicaragua was one of the best big men to enter the portal this year, averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Hurricanes this season. This, a year after helping Miami to the 2023 Final Four.

Omier will have one year of eligibility remaining, and joins a loaded Baylor squad that includes fellow high profile transfer Jeremy Roach (Duke) and five-star guard VJ Edgecombe.
