BYU made its first big portal splash of the off-season, as former Kentucky Wildcat Collin Chandler committed to the school on Saturday.
Ultimately this news wasn't a surprise, as the former Wildcat is from the state of Utah and was a one-time BYU commit. After serving a Mormon mission he spent two years in Lexington and had his best season in 2025-2026, averaging just under 10 points per game on 41 percent shooting from three.
Chandler will now return home to the Provo area, and should immediately step into the role vacated by former Cougs legend Richie Saunders, who graduated this spring.
