For the third time this week, Chris Beard and Texas basketball have picked up a big-time commitment as former Creighton forward Christian Bishop announced his commitment to the Longhorns on Friday evening. Bishop chose the Longhorns over fellow finalists North Carolina and Kansas.
Bishop is a skilled and athletic player who averaged 11.6 points and six rebounds a game for the Jays Final Four team this past season. He joins All-Pac-12 wing Timmy Allen and former Kentucky guard Devin Askew in committing to the Longhorns in the last week.
