Creighton is already projected as one of the best teams in college hoops coming into the 2022-2023 season, and on Sunday, added a key piece via the transfer portal - former TCU guard Francisco Farabello.
Originally a highly-touted guard from Argentina, Farabello had an up-and-down three years in Fort Worth. He actually had his best season as a Horned Frog during the 2020-2021 season, where averaged just over five points per game on 44 percent three-point shooting. Unfortunately, he was limited to nine games because of injuries and Covid, and this year averaged five points, on solid shooting, playing behind star Mike Miles.
Still, Farabello will be a nice addition to a Creighton backcourt that loses reserve Alex O'Connell. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
