Defensive stopper Darryl Morsell will make a college choice on Monday

Darryl Morsell, a 6'4 guard who played last year at Maryland and was arguably the best defensive perimeter player in all of college basketball last season will announce where he'll play next year on Monday. The news was first reported by ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

According to Borzello, Morsell is choosing between Providence, Marquette, Louisville, Arkansas, DePaul and could also return to Maryland. He will not consider professional options however.

Morsell averaged nine points per game last season at Maryland, but as mentioned, was arguably the best defensive guard in the country, earning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2020-2021.
