Emoni Bates has officially cut his list to six schools

Emoni Bates, a former five-star prospect who played this past season at Memphis has officially cut his list to six schools.

Those six schools, per Joe Tipton of On3 Sports are Michigan, Arkansas, Seton Hall, DePaul, Louisville, and Eastern Michigan.

Bates is a fascinating prospect. On the one hand, he averaged just nine points per game during the 2021-2022 season at Memphis, but also did it as a 17-year-old during the season. He missed significant time with a back injury, limiting him to just 18 games last season.

Because he recently just turned 18-years-old, Bates is not eligible for the NBA Draft.
