Florida adds third marquee transfer this off-season

It was another big day at Florida, where for the second time in two days - and third time this off-season - the Gators added a significant transfer.

On Tuesday, former Iona guard Walter Clayton Jr. officially became a Gator, choosing Florida over his former head coach Rick Pitino and St. John's. Clayton was Pitino's leading scorer at Iona last season averaging nearly 19 points per game on over 43 percent three-point shooting.

But, as a native of Florida, the pull to go home was too strong.

Clayton joins former Marshall center Micah Handlogten and former Yale wing EJ Jarvis in committing to the Gators this off-season.
