A former five-star guard has officially entered the transfer portal

Former five-star guard Skyy Clark announced on Sunday that he will transfer after less than one year playing at Illinois.

The news isn't surprising as Clark struggled in his four months in Champaign, averaging seven points and 3.7 rebounds per game in just 25 minutes of play per game. However, his role increased throughout his time at the school and he took a leave from the team in January, never to return.

The No. 33 player in the class of 2023, Clark originally committed to Kentucky. It's believed that Louisville, coached by former UK assistant Kenny Payne, could lead for his services.

He has already set up a visit with Louisville, per 247 Sports' Travis Branham.
