The first big fall out from Mike Brey's departure from Notre Dame dropped on Monday, as former five-star JJ Starling entered the portal.
Starling was the No. 21 ranked overall recruit in the high school class of 2022, and was one of the few bright spots for the Irish this year, averaging 11.2 points per game as a freshman.
He should be one of the most coveted players in the portal, as he chose the Irish over the likes of Duke, Syracuse, Alabama and others.
