Former Iowa sharpshooter CJ Fredrick has made his college choice

Iowa's CJ Fredrick was one of the best shooters in college basketball last season, and after a few weeks in the portal, he has found a new home: He's committed to Kentucky.

The news isn't all that surprising considering that he is a former "Mr. Basketball" in the state of Kentucky. He shot a blistering 47.4 percent from three-point land this season, while averaging 7.5 points per game. He actually averaged 10.2 as a freshman a season ago.

Kentucky is quickly closing in one of the best transfer classes in the country. In addition to Fredrick, they have also added former McDonald's All-American Oscar Tshiebwe (who began his career at Kentucky) and guard Kellen Grady, who averaged double figures four straight seasons at Davidson.
