Devin Askew, a former five-star guard who has played at both Kentucky and Texas in the last two seasons, has found a third college home - he committed to Cal, in news first reported by On 3's Joe Tipton.
The 6'4 guard was originally a member of the high school class of 2021, before reclassifying and spending a year at Kentucky. He transferred to Texas last off-season, where he averaged just 2.1 points per game in limited action.
Still, he should see a bigger role at Cal, if he can get eligible to play right away. As a player who has transferred twice, he'll need a waiver from the NCAA for immediate eligibility.
