Josh LeBlanc, a 6'7 forward who was a key cog on last year's LSU NCAA Tournament team has made his transfer choice. He will play next season for Andy Kennedy at UAB. The news was first reported by CBS's Jon Rothstein.
LeBlanc is a former Top 100 recruit who began his career at Georgetown, before playing last season in Baton Rouge, where he averaged 3.2 points and 4.4 rebounds for the Tigers. Because this is his second transfer, he will have to seek an NCAA waiver to play right away.
He is the sixth transfer Kennedy and his staff have landed this offseason, joining Jordan Walker (Tulane), Jamal Johnson (Auburn), Tyreke Locure (South Alabama), Justin Brown (South Florida), and K.J. Buffen (Ole Miss).
