Former LSU guard Xavier Pinson is down to three schools

Xavier Pinson, a star guard on this year's NCAA Tournament team is down to three schools, he announced on Saturday.

Those three schools: Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and New Mexico State.

The 6'2 guard was a bright spot for the Tigers, averaging just under 10 points and five assists per game, to go along with two steals per contest. With Pinson healthy, the Tigers reached the Top 10 in the country, and then struggled following an injury mid-season.

Whichever school gets Pinson will get a dynamic, athletic lead guard. Because he has already transferred, he will have to apply for a waiver to get eligible.
