Former McDonald's All-American Dawson Garcia is in the portal - and has heard from these schools

Just when you thought transfer portal season was over, we have a new star name available, as former McDonald's All-American and All-Big East freshman honoree Dawson Garcia entered the portal this past weekend.

And since entering the portal, Garcia has heard from some of the biggest names in the sport: According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, North Carolina, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma State, Minnesota and George Mason are among the early schools to reach out for the 6'10 forward, who averaged 13 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last year.

It's worth noting that Garcia has also left open the possibility of returning to Marquette next season. He also remains in the NBA Draft, where he has until July 7th to withdraw his name.
