Former McDonald's All-American Nimari Burnett has chosen his next school

Nimari Burnett, a former McDonald's All-American who played a semester at Texas Tech, has chosen his new college home: He will attend the reigning SEC champion Alabama.

The 6'4 guard played just a handful of games at Texas Tech averaging five points per game, but was a highly-rated recruit coming out of high school. He actually originally chose Texas Tech over Alabama coming out of school.

He should immediately add scoring punch to an Alabama backcourt that is expected to include Jaden Shackleford, Jahvon Quinerly and Joshua Primo.
