Former McDonald's All-American Samuell Williamson entered the portal late Saturday, and has already heard from some of the biggest programs in college hoops.
According to Stock Riser's Jake Weingarten, Texas, SMU, Arkansas, Clemson, Memphis, Arizona State, Loyola Chicago, Tulsa are among the schools to reach out.
Williamson was a decorated recruit when he committed to Louisville over Kansas and others, but never found any consistency in his three years in the ACC. His best season came during the Covid-altered 2020-2021 season, averaging 9.6 points and 8.5 rebounds a game. He averaged just 5.6 points per game this past year however.
Williamson is originally from Texas, so seeing Texas based schools enter the mix is not surprising.
