Former McDonald's All-American Samuell Williamson, who spent the last three seasons at Louisville has decided to enter the transfer portal. The news was first reported by 247 Sports' Travis Branham.
Williamson was a decorated recruit when he committed to Louisville over Kansas and others, but never found any consistency in his three years in the ACC. His best season came during the Covid-altered 2020-2021 season, averaging 9.6 points and 8.5 rebounds a game. He averaged just 5.6 points per game this past year however.
Originally from Texas, Williamson should remain a prominent recruit for several programs. Because of the Covid waiver, he has two years of eligibility remaining.
