Former Syracuse forward Woody Newton has found a new home in the Big 12

Woody Newton, a 6'8 forward who played last season at Syracuse has found a new home: He is headed to play for Mike Boynton and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Newton is a high-upside, former Top 150 recruit who never quite got it going in his one year at Syracuse, averaging just 3.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Still, he will be a solid building block for the Cowboys' future.
