Texas forward Kamaka Hepa was born in Alaska. He is also part Hawaiin and that’s where he will be playing his college basketball in 2021-2022. He announced on his Instagram page that he will be heading to the University of Hawaii to play for the Rainbows.

Hepa is the third Longhorn to depart Austin. He only played in nine games this past season after playing in 51 for his first three years at Texas. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
