Former UConn guard Corey Floyd Jr is headed to the Huskies Big East rival

We had big portal news on Sunday, as former UConn Huskies guard Corey Floyd Jr announced his new school, and it's one of his biggest rivals. Floyd committed to Providence.

Floyd is a former Top 150 recruit who enrolled at UConn early this year and redshirted - only to leave the program after the season.

He now joins an intriguing Providence squad that has crushed the portal this off-season, adding former Louisville guard Noah Locke, South Carolina guard Devin Carter and forward LaSalle forward Clifton Moore.
