Georgetown adds familiar face via the portal

Georgetown added a familiar face via the transfer portal, as center Qudus Wahab announced that he had committed to the Hoyas.

Wahab began his career at Georgetown, averaging 12.7 points and 8.2 rebounds during the Hoyas run to the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Last summer however, he surprising left and ended up at Maryland, where he averaged just 7.2 points per game.

Now, he will return to Georgetown with two years of eligibility left. Because he has transferred twice, he will need a waiver to be eligible right away.
