Gonzaga fell just short of the school's first national championship - but that hasn't stopped Gonzaga coach Mark Few from re-loading in hopes of making another deep run next year. That's because on Friday the Zags got a commitment from one of the best remaining players on the transfer market.
That player is former Iowa State guard Rasir Bolton, who announced that he will play next season in Spokane. The 6'4 guard was the Cyclones leading scorer this season averaging 15.5 points per game, and has scored in double figures in all three seasons he's played college basketball.
Bolton is a solid addition to a Zags backcourt that is expected to include returnee Andrew Nembhard and five-star prospect Hunter Sallis.
