Guard Talent in Transfer Portal Got Deeper with SEC Transfer Who Record Triple Double for Georgia

A double-digit SEC scorer made news Tuesday morning when he both entered the transfer portal and declared for the draft without signing with an agent. According to @stockrisers, Georgia’s Sahvir Wheeler may be playing elsewhere next season.

Wheeler averaged 14.0 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.8 rebounds this past season. An all-SCC second-team selection, he ranked first in the SCC and fifth nationally in assists. Georgia has had a lot of talent run through Athens, but Wheeler was the first to post a triple-double when he tallied 14 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds against South Carolina this past winter.
