High-scoring Nevada guard Desmond Cambridge has entered the transfer portal

Desmond Cambridge, a 6'4 guard who spent the last two years at Nevada, announced on Wednesday that he will enter the transfer portal.

Cambridge was one of the most explosive scorers in the Mountain West this season, averaging 16.1 points per game, all while averaging five rebounds and shooting 33.3 percent from the field. He spent his first two years at Brown, before enrolling in Reno prior to the 2020-2021 season, and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

He is the second key member of the Wolf Pack to leave the team in recent days, joining former teammate Warren Washington, who entered the portal on Tuesday.
