High-scoring Utah wing Alfonso Plummer is headed to Big Ten power

Alfonso Plummer, a high-scoring wing who played the last two seasons at Utah has decided on a new college home: Plummer will play for Brad Underwood and Illinois.


Plummer averaged 13.6 points per game this season, but did so on 38 percent shooting from the three-point line with several 20 point games. He also scored 41 points in a Pac-12 Tournament game in 2020 before the event was cancelled because of Covid-19.
