Huge addition as Tyrese Martin is ruled immediately eligible at UConn

The UConn Huskies got huge news Wednesday morning, as Rhode Island transfer Tyrese Martin was ruled immediately eligible. The news was first reported by CBS's Jon Rothstein. The 6'6 Martin averaged just under 13 points and seven rebounds last year for the Rams, and should compete for a starting job for the Huskies in 2020-2021. He was originally recruited to Rhode Island by current UConn coach Dan Hurley, before Hurley left for Storrs.
