In a portal stunner - Big East Player of the Year RJ Luis will enter the transfer portal, in news first reported by ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Luis will also test the NBA Draft waters, according to Givony.
Simply put this is a shocker, as Luis was one of college basketball's breakout stars, averaging 18.2 points and 7.2 rebounds, while helping St. John's to Big East regular season and tournament titles. He did however struggle in the NCAA Tournament, shooting 3 of 17 in a loss to Arkansas and was benched for the final few minutes of the game.
Still, if Luis does come back to college - expect him to be among the most pursued players in the country.
