Johni Broome, one of the best players in the portal, has cut his list of schools

Johni Broome, arguably one of the 2-3 best players in the portal has cut his list down to a handful of schools.

Per a report from On3's Joe Tipton, Broome is down to: Auburn, Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, Houston, Kentucky, Louisville, and Memphis.

It isn't an exaggeration to say Broome is one of the best players available, after averaging nearly 17 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game at Morehead State this season. That included a 32 point, eight rebound performance in a near upset of Murray State in the OVC Championship Game.
