Kansas makes a major addition in the portal

Kansas made a major addition in the portal on Wednesday, as coveted Towson guard Nick Timberlake committed to the Jayhawks.

The 6'4 guard is a bucket-getter, finishing this past season averaging 17 points per game in the uber-competitive CAA, while shooting 41 percent from three.

Put simply, this is a major get for the Jayhawks, as Timberlake was a priority for both UConn and North Carolina as well, visiting the national champion Huskies this past weekend. Instead, he'll head to Lawrence where he'll team in the backcourt with returning guard DaJuan Harris.
