Kentucky forward Bryce Hopkins is in the transfer portal

Bryce Hopkins, a former Top 50 forward nationally who played this last season at Kentucky, has decided to enter the transfer portal, he announced on Thursday.

Hopkins is a former Mr. Basketball in the state of Illinois, but never found a consistent role at Kentucky, where he averaged 2.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game in limited action this year. Still, at 6'8, he will be a coveted player.

Early schools to keep an eye on include Illinois, DePaul, Providence and Louisville, per KSR's Jack Pilgrim.
