Kentucky, Kansas and UConn among those who have reached out to a mid-major star

A mid-major star is already hearing from some of the biggest names in college hoops.
According to the Portal Report, Furman guard Alex Wilkins has already heard from these schools: Alabama, UConn, Syracuse, Houston, Xavier, Baylor, Creighton, Providence, Texas, SMU, Kentucky, Miami, Arkansas, Kansas, Ole Miss, Illinois, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt.
As a true freshman this year, the 6'5 Wilkins blew up for the Paladins, averaging over 17 points and 4.7 assists per game. His national breakout performance came in an opening round NCAA Tournament, where he scored 21 points with four assists, on 4 of 8 shooting from three.
Originally from the Boston area, he will have three years of eligibility remaining.
